Woodside Energy Group Ltd (formerly Woodside Petroleum) is an Australian oil and gas exploration and production company, the country's largest independent dedicated oil and gas producer. It is a pioneer of Australia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry.

Woodside was incorporated in 1954, originally as Woodside (Lakes Entrance) Oil Co, and grew to lead the development of Australia's LNG industry, including the North West Shelf project. Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, it is the largest Australian oil and gas company by market capitalisation and is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Following its 2022 merger with BHP's petroleum business, Woodside expanded its international portfolio, with activities across Australia, the Americas, Africa and other regions. It generates roughly US$20 billion in annual revenue.
